TODAY: We started the Monday forecast with quite a few temps at or below freezing this morning. By later today our highs will be about 4-7 degrees warmer than highs on Sunday. You'll notice more sunshine in the forecast, but you might also see a stray shower or two. Just after lunch we'll have a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Chances about 20% for El Paso and Teller County....10% chance for Pueblo, Canon City, Trinidad and La Junta.

TONIGHT: Cold again. Some temps could be close to or around the freezing mark again. You might want to protect some of you fragile plants just to be safe.

TAX DAY: Lovely weather expected for your Tuesday! Temps tomorrow should be at least 12 degrees warmer than today. Sunny skies in the morning and then just a few clouds increasing from the west in the later afternoon.

WEDNESDAY: Warmest day of the work week with temps in the lower 70's in the Springs and upper 70's in Pueblo. It will be a touch breezy in the late afternoon ahead of a weak storm system that is approaching.

THURSDAY: Breezy, a few degrees cooler and a chance of showers or thunderstorms. That system passes into eastern Colorado during the day bringing us increasing winds and an increasing chance of a shower or storm or two. Chance is highest over the mountains...about 30% in Teller County. 20% chance for El Paso County and Colorado Springs. Pueblo and the plains will see a lower, 10% chance for more moisture.

FRIDAY: More sunshine and pretty nice. Winds will be lighter and temps will end the afternoon very close to highs on Thursday. Upper 60's in the Springs and lower 70's in Pueblo. Temps in Teller County will be mild...in the mid to upper 50's.

SATURDAY/SUNDAY: The weekend arrives with plenty of sunshine and really nice weather. Temps both days will be above average...lower to middle 70's in the Springs. Upper 70's and near 80 in Pueblo.
