It's Arbor Day and close to 100 people met in America the Beautiful Park to kick off the celebration.

Volunteers are planting twenty-five trees along the trail between Monument Creek and Chestnut Street.

Artists will be painting tree-themed murals under I-25 to cover-up the graffiti on columns.
